This membership is designed for those who believe in the mission of strengthening and supporting private contract working-dog teams, even if they are not active handlers themselves. The Handlers Membership is designed exclusively for working dog handlers who dedicate their time and expertise to keeping communities safe. Handlers gain access to exclusive member benefits, including discounted seminars and access to a private handler forum, industry partnerships, exclusive corporate discounts and training opportunities designed to strengthen their teams in the field. **Handlers must be currently certified to be a Handler Member**
Corporate Silver Partners are dedicated supporters helping elevate the standard of care, training, and community for private contract working dog teams. This sponsorship tier includes enhanced brand visibility across NPCWDA’s platforms, featured social media recognition, and opportunities to engage directly with our handler network through events and product collaborations. Silver Partners help fund continuing education and handler assistance programs that keep teams mission ready.
Corporate Bronze members are valued supporters of NPCWDA’s mission to provide resources, education, and medical assistance to private contract working dog teams. This entry-level sponsorship tier helps provide essential funding for handler medical assistance, training resources, and continuing education. As a K9 handler, I’ve seen the realities of this industry up close. Handlers and their dogs are often the very first line of defense at major events and operations, yet too often they face poor support, inconsistent training opportunities, and little recognition for the responsibility they carry.
I founded this nonprofit to change that. Our mission is to raise industry standards, advocate for the welfare of working dogs, and ensure handlers have the training, resources, and backing they deserve. This is about more than just filling a gap, it’s about building a stronger, safer future for the teams who protect us every day.
